Meet Carmen Hunter
Carmen Hunter is a certified functional health coach and the founder of The Institute for Functional Health Coaching®.
She is a single mom of a teenage boy and mom to one ornery basset hound named Daisy. She struggled with chronic pain for over ten years and after seeing over 21 doctors and getting nowhere she took matters into her own hands. She learned everything she could about food and lifestyle and how it affects our mind and body and began healing and repairing her own problems as she created a whole new way of eating and living for her family. She is passionate about people and animal welfare as well as doing the right thing in life.
After almost two decades of marriage and significant trauma, she was given what she now sees as a true gift to start her life over with more joy, compassion and understanding. She loves to help people find their way through their challenges and see the excitement when they find themselves on the other side.
